The situation
The delivery service was scaling but had no purpose-built app. Routing was inefficient, customers couldn't track orders in real time, and the operation needed a platform that could keep pace with demand.
What we did
We built a React Native platform with real-time order tracking and AI-optimized routing on a Node.js and GraphQL backend, using PostgreSQL, Redis, and the Google Maps API. Couriers get efficient routes; customers get live updates.
The outcome
Route optimization improved 25%, average delivery time dropped to 28 minutes, and the app runs at a 99.5% crash-free rate.
